Lewis & Clark Regional Development Council (RDC) has approved a loan through the Intermediary Relending Program (IRP) Mandan II Fund for a working capital loan, which is part of a financing package to purchase Big Muddy Septic Service, LLC in Mandan. Railway Credit Union in Mandan is the lead lender on the project.
Big Muddy Septic will, for the time being, maintain its current location at MVP Petroleum as they grow the business. The new owners, Shane Leingang and Kelsey Leingang, have been employees with Big Muddy for several years, which will result in a seamless transition. Big Muddy provides residential and commercial septic cleaning service throughout Bismarck-Mandan. Goals are for the business to expand its services to a substantially wider area.
The IRP Mandan Fund leverages private lender financing to help small businesses and manufacturers attain the loans and investments needed to expand or create jobs in up to a ten mile radius of Mandan.
