Lewis & Clark Development Group continued to support small business growth throughout North Dakota by disbursing nearly $2 million in funding from its regional loan programs during the 2025 fiscal year.
From October 1, 2024, through September 23, 2025, LCD Group provided a total of $1,982,430 – nearly $2 million – in lending through a mix of local revolving loan funds and the North Dakota Opportunity Fund (NDOF). These funds supported 27 businesses across the state.
NDOF Leads in Loan Volume
NDOF accounted for the lion’s share, with nearly $1.7 million disbursed to 19 businesses in participating communities.
Since its inception in 2012, NDOF has provided over $40 million in financing to 105 businesses in 22 North Dakota communities. An additional 11 businesses in non-member North Dakota communities have also benefited through partner endorsements.
“These funds continue to be flexible and reliable tools for small business owners who need financing that supports job creation, business expansion, and local reinvestment,” says LCD Group Commercial Lending Director Matt Burthold.
“We’re seeing strong statewide demand and interest for NDOF funding, especially when used to leverage programs like Flex PACE.”
Targeted Support Through Local Loan Funds
Other regional loan programs managed by LCD Group also provided key support.
Nearly $238,000 in CARES Act Revolving Loan Funds helped four businesses in Bismarck, Mandan, and Turtle Lake primarily by lowering Flex PACE interest rates. Almost $182,000 from the Defederalized Revolving Loan Fund backed two projects in Bismarck, while IRP II and IRPM loans offered over $88,000 to businesses in Linton and Mandan.
With over $3.2 million available in loan funds, LCD Group is ready to support even more North Dakota businesses in FY 2026.
