Everything Safety in Williston has a new home thanks to the North Dakota Opportunity Fund. The safety equipment provider recently relocated to 3320 Second Avenue West.
Ken Christenot established the retail business in 2017 to sell safety products and clothing. Walk into their expanded store today and you will find safety clothes, skull protection, boots, oil spill equipment, first aid equipment, safety lighting, and a range of recreational safety gear. Everything Safety also provides safety training and first aid training.
The new location allows Christenot to expand his inventory, which will meet consistent and growing demand for Everything Safety’s products.
North Dakota Opportunity Fund participated with American State Bank & Trust of Williston and Bank of North Dakota to help Everything Safety purchase the former Hedahl’s location and the property the business has been leasing for years.
“Everything Safety is one of several small businesses the North Dakota Opportunity Fund has been able to help over the years in northwestern North Dakota. We have a solid relationship with many lenders in the Williston region, which is having a positive impact on the region’s economy,” says Matt Burthold, LCD Group commercial lending director.
In the last three years, the North Dakota Opportunity Fund has provided financing in the Williston area to Prizm dance company, Senor Egg restaurant, Integrity Auto & Diesel Repair, Busy Bees Hot Oil Incorporated, Pronghorn Well Service, PlayWorks Individual and Family Therapy, Bud’s R&R, and Nova Energy.
Williston is one of 38 municipalities that participates in the North Dakota Opportunity Fund. Since 2012, the North Dakota Opportunity Fund has disbursed $29.9 million in loan proceeds.
