Lewis & Clark Development is pleased to announce another staff promotion and a new addition.
LCD Group recently created the role of Human Resources Director. Up until then, HR duties were handled by Erika Anderson, LCD Group’s operations director, but steady staff and portfolio growth necessitated the creation of the separate role.
“We’re quickly evolving as an organization,” says Brent Ekstrom, LCD Group executive director, who notes that the new position is one in a series of corporate restructuring moves being rolled out in phases.
“Fortunately, for us, we did not have to look far for the ideal candidate,” Ekstrom added.
Berger named HR Director
Longtime administrative assistant Nicole Berger was recently promoted to Human Resources Director. Berger originally joined LCD Group back in March 2020 – starting her tenure days before the team transitioned to remote work during the COVID pandemic. Over the last six years, the LCD Group team has come to rely on Berger’s dedication and professionalism to ensure operations run smoothly.
Drawing on almost 25 years of professional experience, Berger will now pivot to manage HR matters for LCD Group’s growing team of employees throughout North Dakota.
“Stepping into this role allows me to support our team in a broader capacity and to continue working for an organization that I love,” says Berger.
Oien is LCD Group’s new administrative assistant
Alexa Oien has stepped into the role of administrative assistant. Oien brings organizational expertise in the banking industry, including compliance auditing, deposit operations, and employee training.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from Dickinson State University and an associate’s degree from Bismarck State College.
“I’ve only been here a short time, but I already feel respected and part of the team. I couldn’t be happier to join Lewis and Clark Development Group. I look forward to growing in my role here,” says Oien.
